2nd Grade - Ms. McNulty's Blog       Ms. Erin McNulty
I attended Catholic School from Kindergarten through twelfth grade in Cleveland, Ohio.  After attending The Ohio State University and graduating from
Cleveland State University with a bachelor degree in Arts and Science and Early Childhood Education I returned to my own elementary school, St. Mary’s
where I taught kindergarten for two years.  I have both an Ohio Teaching License and California Teaching Credential.  I recently moved from Cleveland, Ohio to
Los Angeles and have been blessed with an opportunity to continue teaching in a Catholic school.  This will be my third year teaching at Good Shepherd.  I
love teaching at Good Shepherd because we have such a diverse student body and faculty.  The students' excitement to learn and the cooperation of the
parents make my job extremely rewarding.
1st Grade - Mr. Huerta's Blog       Mr. Francisco Huerta
I am a native of Mexico. I came to the United States at the age of five and became a U.S. citizen in 1996.  I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies
with a minor concentration in Spanish from California State University Dominguez Hills. I finished my Master's Degree in Education from the University of
Phoenix. I taught second grade for two years in public school and I have been at Good Shepherd School for nine years. I enjoy teaching at GSCS because  it
is unique and it is fascinating to teach in a diverse school. The faculty and staff at GSCS have high academic expectations and strong Christian beliefs. The
faculty is a very supportive team and I am proud to be part of this team.

I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a major in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics.  Upon graduating, I joined
AmeriCorps which is a non-profit organization dedicated to service in our communities.  After working in the non-profit field for two years, I was given the
opportunity to join the Good Shepherd family.  I have taught Kindergarten at Good Shepherd for three wonderful years and will be completing my Masters in
Education at Loyola Marymount University in December 2009.  Having attended Catholic schools for most of my education, I feel blessed to give my
students the same Catholic education I had.  Teaching at GSCS is a rewarding experience in which the staff works to build a caring community of
collaborative learners.

I have worked in the business world for over 20 years and have continually pursued many areas of education during that time. My primary interests involve
the computer and other high tech learning.   I attended McIntosh Business College in Dover, NH majoring in Business English and Communication.  My
Certifications include an Advanced Degree for Web Design from Sessions, NY, Network (CNA) and Network Email and Project Administration from New
Horizons, Thousand Oaks, CA. I am also proficient in many business administration, graphic, web design and page layout programs. I have been with Good
Shepherd School since 2003 and enjoy the daily interaction with the faculty, students and their families.  It is great to work at a school that teaches Christian
values in everything they do throughout the day.

Art - Ms. Arnold's Blog       Ms. Erin Arnold
A product of Catholic education, I attended Holy Family School and Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena. After earning my BA in Studio Art at Loyola
Marymount University, I pursued graduate studies in art education at California State University Long Beach. I worked as a graphic designer, a computer
animator, an elementary school computer teacher, and a freelance mural painter before joining the faculty of Good Shepherd School in 2003. For the past six
years, I held various positions including teaching computers, art, and second grade. In 2008, I earned a Masters in Secondary Education at Loyola Marymount
University. I feel very fortunate to share my love of art with the children of Good Shepherd Catholic School.
Physical Education       Ms. Shelly Shalhoub (Coach Shelly)
The majority of my adult career has been in the field of radio broadcasting, specifically a Spanish radio station as an on-air personality/host. It was here that I
learned that I possessed the ability to motivate and/or influence people. I gained notoriety, publicity and a lifetime of experience in positive interaction with the
public. I was #1 in Los Angeles for over 10 yrs. However, none of it has been more exciting, enriching or meaningful than my work at Good Shepherd School.
Here I am part of the teachings and hopefully the inspiration for our future which will provide the foundation upon which our students will build their lives. I
endeavor to continue working, teaching and promoting confident, healthy, and Christ-like lifestyle of our youth. Our future!!!
