EXPULSION FROM SCHOOL

The following offenses committed by children while under the jurisdiction of Good Shepherd
Catholic School are grounds for expulsion:
  1. Actions gravely detrimental to the moral and spiritual welfare of other pupils
  2. Continued willful disobedience
  3. Open, persistent defiance of the authority of a teacher
  4. Habitual profanity or vulgarity
  5. Smoking or possession of tobacco
  6. Use, sale or possession of narcotics
  7. Willfully cutting, defacing, or otherwise damaging school property.  Replacement of
    materials will be the responsibility of the person committing the offense
  8. Stealing
  9. Use, sale, distribution or possession of any alcoholic beverage on or near school premises
  10. Assault or battery or any threat of force or violence directed towards any school personnel
    or student
  11. Habitual truancy
  12. Possession of harmful weapons or materials that can be used as weapons
  13. Leaving the school grounds before, during or after school hours without permission
  14. Repeated cheating
  15. Belonging to or associating with a gang or hate group or participation in gang activity
  16. Forging signatures
  17. Deliberate defamation of the school, school personnel or students on any website or blog
