Financial operations of the organizations shall be governed by the following regulations:
- All monies received by the organization through membership dues and fundraising activities
are deposited in the school account and marked Parents’ Club.
- All expenses incurred by the organization are paid from the account;
- This account like all parish elementary school accounts are under the Archdiocese of Los
Angeles, a sole corporation, and are directed by the Principal and/or Pastor.
Room Parents
The Room Parents are appointed by the Executive Board for one year, in consultation with the
Principal and the homeroom teachers. The Room Parents’ responsibilities will be as follows:
- To meet and work with the Vice-President
- To be present at each Board of Directors meetings
- To cooperate in all Parents Club projects and promote unity and parental interest in the
activities of the individual class and in the activities of the Parents Club and School
- To work under the direction of the Principal and the homeroom teacher for any class activities
(all activities must have Principal and teacher approval)
- To welcome new and returning families and to promote an atmosphere of goodwill
- To assist the Committee Chairpersons with parental volunteers, when requested
- To be the Parents Club main line of communication
