Now Accepting 2012-2013 Kindergarten, Pre-K,
and 1st-8th Grade Applications

Pre-K must be 4 years old by September 1st of the year applied for and Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 1st.

Good Shepherd Catholic School is now accepting Kindergarten, Pre-K and First through Eighth grade applications for the 2012-2013 school year.  An outline of the admissions process is shown below.

Step 1

If you are not familiar with the school we suggest you start the application process with a school tour.  Tours are given every Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 pm.  Tours are led by 8th grade Student Council members and there is an opportunity to meet with the School’s Admissions Director, Sharon Monroe.  To make a reservation for a school tour please call 310-275-8601 x104 or email admissions@goodshepherdbeverlyhills.com

Step 2

Fill out the Registration Form and submit the form along with the $550 Registration Fee, the student’s Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Baptismal Certificate (if applicable).  We suggest you call Sharon Monroe at 310-275-8601 x104 or email her at admissions@goodshepherdbeverlyhills.com to set up an appointment to review the registration documents.

Step 3

A testing appointment is set up for the potential student with the appropriate grade level teacher.  The test times vary and will last approximately 15-20 minutes for a Kindergarten student to approximately 45-50 minutes for an upper grade student.

Please Note: There will be no test results given at the conclusion of the test.

Step 4

An appointment for the parents and students is set up with the Principal, Ms. Terry Miller.  At the meeting with Ms. Miller she will review the test results, inform the parents and students about the school’s expectations and philosophy, and notify the parents whether the student has been accepted.
